Abstract
Ulcerative colitis(UC)is an immune-mediated inflammatory bowel disease with complex pathogenesis,long course,easy recurrence,and difficulty in complete cure.In recent years,due to the increase in patients with long-term disease,the treatment of UC has become more difficult.Western medical treatments such as hormones,azathio-prine,biological agents,etc.are still not satisfactory.Sishen Pills are mostly used to treat UC with spleen and kidney yang deficiency syndrome.Through clinical observation,,pharmacological studies,experimental verification,etc.have found that it works through multiple pathways such as reducing inflammatory responses,regulating intestinal flora and autophagy,regulating immunity,protecting epithelial integrity,and improving intestinal peristalsis and energy me-tabolism.Due to the complexity of the mechanism and the multi-target nature of traditional Chinese medicine in treat-ing UC,further in-depth research is needed to strengthen the multi-dimensional differences and connections between monomers and compound formulations,experiments and clinical trials,animal models and human bodies,and explore more microscopic mechanisms..关键词
