摘要

Abstract

The membrane electrode assembly(MEA)of a high-power proton exchange membrane fuel cell(PEMFC)has an important impact on the performance of the stack.The purpose of this study is to investigate the activation process and typical problems of high-power PEMFC stack after mainte-nance.Firstly,different MEA activation strategies are reviewed,and constant current natural activa-tion,constant current forced activation,and variable current forced activation processes after stacks maintenance are proposed.Then the activation strategies of different activation processes after stacks maintenance are compared and analyzed.The results show that placing the replacement MEA on the gas inlet side of the stack and using variable current forced activation processes can rapidly activate the stack and improve performance.
