摘要

Abstract

CuAg catalyst was synthesized by chemical reduction in two steps.The CuAg catalyst was characterized by SEM,TEM,XRD and XPS,and its electrochemical tests such as CV and LSV were carried out.The results show that the oxygen reduction reaction of CuAg in oxygen-saturated alka-line electrolyte is a 4e-process,and the catalytic activity increases with the increase of Ag content.The catalytic performance was further improved by loading CuAg onto carbon black.The initial po-tential of CuAg/C catalyst is 0.815 V(vs.RHE),and the slope of Tafel is 84.92 mV/(°).When the cata-lyst is applied to zinc-air battery,the battery power density reaches 128.96 mW/cm2,the ultimate dis-charge specific capacity reaches 792 mAh/g.It has long term cycling stability under 5 mA/cm2 charg-ing and discharging cycles.
