Abstract
In order to cope with the hydraulic problems caused by frequent changes of reservoir water level and bidirectional flow of water,the side inlet/outlet of pumped storage power station needs to ensure good internal hydraulic characteristics.Taking the side inlet/outlet of a pumped storage power station as an example,the numerical simulation method is used to analyze the flow pattern of each part and explore the internal flow law under the bidirectional flow condition.The results show that under the two conditions,the flow velocity changes along the middle hole and side hole are the same,and the diffusion section has the greatest influence on the flow velocity changes inside the inlet/outlet.Under the inlet condition,the main stream is located at the bottom of the orifice,and the backflow area is formed above the adjustment section due to the shear action of the two-direction flow.Under the discharge condition,the main stream is located in the middle of the orifite,and the vertical diffusion Angle causes the flow separation phenomenon above the diffusion section and the adjustment section.The research results can provide reference for the design of side inlet/outlet of the same type pumped storage power station.关键词
