Abstract
Objective To explore the imaging features of primary pulmonary artery leiomyosarcoma(PPAL)for a better understanding of this tumor.Methods We retrospectively analyzed the imaging manifestations and pathology results of a case of PPAL,and reviewed the relevant literature.Results Echocardiography showed a hypoechoic mass in the right ventricular outflow tract and pulmonary artery.Enhanced CT revealed an irregular mixed density mass in the right ventricular outflow tract,main pulmonary artery,proximal right pulmonary artery,and surrounding areas with mild heterogeneous enhancement.Additionally,multiple soft tissue density nodules were found in bilateral lungs.Positron emission tomography/computed tomography(PET/CT)demonstrated that the lesions in the pulmonary artery and right lung nodule exhibited extraordinarily elevated glucose metabolism.Intrapulmonary metastases from PPAL were considered based on biopsy of right lung nodule.Conclusion The imaging characteristics of PPAL are distinctive.PET/CT can guide the selection of puncture site.关键词
