Abstract
This paper observed'Black King Kong'wampee in Liangqing District,Nanning,Guangxi.The growth performance was studied,and the phenophases,botanical traits and fruit traits were evaluated.The results showed that the comprehensive characteristics of this variety were out-standing:It began to bloom in mid-March and the fruit ripened in mid-August.The average bunch weight was 323.5 g,with medium size fruit(average single fruit weight was 8.1 g).The single fruit shape was oblong or nearly round(average cross diameter was 2.1 cm,longitudinal diameter was 2.6 cm),the peel was bronze when ripe,and became dark brown after fully ripened.The fruit soluble solid content was 16.5%,edible rate was 60.7%,each single fruit contained 1～2 seeds.The fruit was sweet and aromatic,with firm and smooth pulp,juicy without residue.In general,this variety has excellent characteristics and quality,could meet the market demand,showing a broad develop-ment prospect,and is suitable for promotion and planting in Nanning,Guangxi.关键词
