中药通过干预miRNA表达治疗椎间盘退行性变OACSTPCD
Traditional Chinese Medicine Intervenes in miRNA-Mediated Intervertebral Disc Degeneration
椎间盘退行性变的发病机制十分复杂,包括炎症、基因、遗传、免疫及生物力学因素等多个方面.炎症反应在疾病发生过程中扮演着关键角色,炎症因子的异常表达可加速疾病的发展进程.非编码微小RNA(microRNA,miRNA)作为基因表达的重要调控分子,在疾病的发生发展中发挥关键作用,通过调节 miRNA的表达,可以抑制炎症反应的发生,进而修复椎间盘组织.中药通过干预miRNA表达调节椎间盘炎症反应成为新的热点.中药复方如芍药甘草汤、独活寄生汤等,以及中药单体如淫羊藿苷、川续断总皂苷等,可以通过调节miRNA的表达干预炎症反应,有望减缓疾病发展,成为治疗椎间盘退行性变的潜在药物.因此,中药通过干预miRNA表达抑制椎间盘炎症反应从而延缓疾病发展是一种潜在的治疗途径.
The pathogenesis of intervertebral disc degeneration is very complex,including inflammatory,genetic,hereditary,immune and biomechanical factors.Inflammatory response plays a key role in the occurrence of diseases,and the abnormal expression of inflammatory factors can accelerate the progression of diseases.As an important regulatory molecule of gene expression,microRNA(miRNA)has an effect on the occurrence and progression of diseases.By regulating the expression of miRNA,the inflammatory response can be inhibi-ted,and then the intervertebral disc tissue can be repaired.Traditional Chinese medicine has become a new research hotspot in regula-ting intervertebral disc inflammation by interfering with miRNA expression.Traditional Chinese medicine compound formulas such as Shaoyao Gancao Decoction,Duhuo Jisheng Decoction and traditional Chinese medicine monomers such as icariin and total saponins of dipsacus asper can interfere with the inflammatory response by regulating the expression of miRNA,which is expected to slow down the progression of the disease and become potential drugs for the treatment of intervertebral disc degeneration.Therefore,TCM intervention of miRNA expression is a potential therapeutic approach to inhibit the intervertebral disc inflammatory response and thus slow down the progression of the disease.
