Acupuncture Treatment of Alzheimer's Disease Based on NLRP3 Inflammasome
摘要
Abstract
Persistent excessive immune inflammatory response plays a key role in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease(AD).NOD-like receptor protein 3(NLRP3)inflammasome is crucial in neuroinflammatory pathways,which is abnormally activated by various stimuli such as amyloid β-protein(Aβ)and triggers AD pathological changes,leading to the decline of cognitive function.NLRP3 in-flammasome may provide a new target for the treatment of AD.Acupuncture can inhibit the activation of NLRP3 inflammasome by regu-lating TLR4/NF-κB signaling pathway and regulating intestinal flora disorder,thereby inhibiting the activation of microglia and the ex-pression of pro-inflammatory cytokines,to play a role in the treatment of AD.In the future,omics technology,high-throughput mass spectrometry and bioinformatics can be used to study from multi-dimensional perspectives,to provide stronger evidence for the preven-tion and treatment of AD with acupuncture.关键词
