摘要
Abstract
As worldwide pests,termites have high utilization values,though they have caused harm to the productive and living activities of human beings,which has been the human focus and limited the understanding of their pharmacological effects.Termites are rich in mineral elements,which can be refined into the disease-prevention medicine and effective health supplement.Termites contain pharmaceutical ingredients,so far there have been more than 10 kinds of termites used in the clinical treatment.Termite nests and fungus comb contain a variety of microorganisms and amino acids as well as other bioactive substances,which can be refined into the medicine for many diseases.Termite nest symbiosis,such as Termitomyces,termite balls,and Xylaria nigripes,have medical effects.Termite nest capsules and Wulingshen capsules made from termite nests and Xylaria nigripes have been used in the clinical treatment.This study summarizes termites,termites'nests and fungus comb,as well as chemical compositions and pharmacological effects of termite nest symbiosis;furthermore,this review outlines key areas for future research and potential applications,offering valuable insights for the future investigation and development in this field.关键词
