Effect of Schuell language training combined with repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation on the rehabilitation of aphasiain patients with ischemic stroke

Abstract
Objective To investigatethe effect of Schuell language training combined with repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation(rTMS)on the rehabilitation of aphasia in patients with ischemic stroke.Methods A total of 112 patients with aphasia after cerebral ischemic stroke who were admitted to Gaochun Hospital Affiliated to Jiangsu Health Vocational College from January 2020 to September 2022 were enrolledas subjects and were randomly divided into control group and observation group,with 56 patientsin each group.The patients in the control group received Schuell language training,and those in the observation group received rTMS in addition to the treatment in the control group.The two groups were compared in terms of the scores of Chi-nese functional communication profile(CFCP),Aphasia Battery of Chinese(ABC),and Mini-Mental State Examination(MMSE).Results There wereno significant differences in CFCP,ABC,and MMSE scores between the two groups before treatment.After treatment,both groups had significant increases in each index(t=10.646-133.303,P＜0.01),and compared with the control group,the observation group had significantly higher scores after treatment(t=3.483-38.375,P＜0.01),as well as significantly greater increases in these scores after treatment(t=3.115-33.338,P＜0.01).Conclusion Schuell language training combined with rTMS has a good effect in improving the rehabilitation of aphasia in patients with ischemic stroke.关键词
