一次冷涡背景下强对流过程中风廓线雷达的应用

Abstract
A severe convective weather process on August 7,2017 is analyzed using the wind profile radar of Nantong Xingdong National Station.The results show that the severe convective weather occurs under the background of cold vortex and is at the edge of the subtropical high,and the local water vapor condition is better.Before the occurrence of strong convection,the wind profile radar can clearly reflect the distribution of cold and warm advection and the change of wind direction and speed,which has a good indication significance for the prediction and early warning of strong convection process.The vertical velocity and signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)are consistent with the trend of convection,which can better reflect the change of convection.The atmospheric refractive index structure constant can well reflect the occurrence and end of strong convection.The vertical wind shear increased significantly 60 min before the onset of severe convection.关键词
