Abstract

Taking a light-duty gas turbine as research objective,the test study on its ignition during start-up was carried out.In the atmosphere temperature range of-20-35℃,the factors affecting ignition success were systematically explored by tests of fuel heating,angle adjustments of inlet guiding vane and adjustment of oil supply curve.The conclusions of tests were as follows:ignition at low temperature was more difficult than that at high temperature;the ignition success of the whole unit was determined more by the actual oil-gas ratio near the ignition nozzle than the total oil-gas ratio;to increase the inlet air velocity of combustion chamber was beneficial to the ignition success within a certain range;to heat up the fuel at low temperature could significantly improve the probability of ignition success;the ignition performance was greatly influenced by the state(hot or cold)of gas turbine.The research results can provide reference for the strategy of ignition during start-up in gas turbines.
