Abstract
Objective To explore the relationship between the expression of serum neuron specific enolase(NSE)and central nerve system specific protein(S100β)in children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD)and their social func-tion.Methods A total of 136 children with ADHD admitted to our hospital from February 2022 to March 2023 were selected as the ADHD group,and 136 healthy children who underwent physical examination at the same time were collected as the health group.Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)was applied to determine the expression levels of serum NSE and S100β of children in two groups.The Weiss Functional Impairment Rating Scale-Parent Version(WFIRS-P)was applied to evaluate the so-cial function of children in two groups.Spearman correlation was applied to analyze the correlation between serum NSE,S100β ex-pression levels and WFIRS-P score in children with ADHD.Results The expression levels of serum NSE and S100β in the ADHD group were higher than those in the healthy group(P<0.05).The scores of family,school/learning,self-management,social activities,life skills,and adventure activities on the WFIRS-P scale for children in the ADHD group were higher than those in the healthy group(P<0.05).Spearman correlation analysis showed that the serum NSE level of ADHD patients was obviously positively correlated with the scores of six dimensions of the WFIRS-P scale:family,school/learning,self-management,social ac-tivities,life skills,and adventure activities(rs=0.531,0.560,0.516,0.402,0.591,0.584,all P<0.001);the serum S100β level was obviously positively correlated with the scores of six dimensions of the WFIRS-P scale,including family,school/learning,self-management,social activities,life skills,and adventure activities(rs=0.573,0.555,0.418,0.457,0.495,0.546,all P<0.001).Conclusion The serum levels of NSE and S100β in children with ADHD are obviously up-regulated,and both of them are obviously related to social function.关键词
