Study on settlement of gravity wharf on sandy foundation
摘要
Abstract
In the calculation of quay foundation settlement,the correction coefficient should be confirmed by experience or determined by field tests.The expansion project of the Abidjan Port in Cote d'Ivoire is a caisson gravity quay constructed on the sedimentary foundation of a lagoon,where no experience coefficient was available.Settlement data from the beginning of construction until one and a half years after operation were collected.Through regression fitting of the settlement data,the correction coefficient calculated by the standard formula method was obtained.The research results can be referenced by similar projects in terms of both design and construction.关键词
