Impact of Standardization Capability on Innovation Performance:A Meta Analysis

Abstract
As market competition increases,enterprises are regulating and guiding the direction of core technology development by developing and promoting relevant standards,forming a protection system for technological research and development by improving standardization capabilities,and increasing the competitiveness of enterprises in the key technological fields.Based on the resource-based theory and the data samples of 20 empirical studies,this study adopts a meta-analytical approach to deeply explore the impact of standardization capability on innovation performance and reveal the potential relationship between the two.The results of the empirical study show that:(1)standardization capability positively promotes innovation performance;(2)the positive effect of standardization capability on innovation performance is more significant for science and technology-based enterprises;(3)the positive effect of standardization capability on innovation performance is more significant when considering the mediating variables;and it is suggested that enterprises should formulate a reasonable standardization strategy according to their own situation and actively participate in standards development.关键词
