摘要

Abstract

The slopes of open-pit mines in seasonally frozen soil areas are affected by adverse geological processes and harsh environments,resulting in continuous deformation,cracks,slippage and other diseases,seriously threatening the safety of mining operations.The stability of open-pit mine slopes in seasonal frozen areas was studied based on the instability of the east slope of the Tumurtiin-Ovoo Zinc Mine,and conducts mainly including adverse geological effects,freeze-thaw cycles,mining blasting vibration,and direct water effects.On the basis of analysis and calculation,a comprehensive reinforcement and renovation plan was proposed,which includes slope cutting and load reduction,slope reinforcement,drainage engineering,and slope surface spraying and soil covering.Based on the checking calculation,reinforcement according to the design plan can effectively improve the stability of the eastern slope and solve the long-standing stability problem of the eastern slope.The goal to fundamentally eliminate safety hazards and ensure sustainable mining operations is fulfilled.
