Research progress on biological function of Yucca extract and its application in animal production
摘要
Abstract
Yucca belongs to the Yucca genus of the Agave family and is a versatile plant that is edible,medicinal,and ornamental.Yucca extract contains rich saponins,polyphenols and polysaccharides as well as other active ingredients.As a natural,green and safe new feed additive,Yucca extract can fulfill a variety of biological functions in animal production,such as promoting growth,improving reproductive performance,improving feed conversion,regulating the gastrointestinal environment,improving the breeding environment,etc.,and has good application prospects in the field of animal husbandry.The article introduces the main active ingredients,chemical structure,biological functions of Yucca extract and its application in animal production,and discusses the possible problems of Yucca extract feed additives,to provide references for further research and application of Yucca extract in animal production.关键词
