摘要

Abstract

Based on the high-order nonlinear Schrӧdinger equation,the influence of higher-order effects on the transmission charac-teristics of a new type Airy pulse in dissipative systems is studied.The results show that in addition to the third-order dispersion of the system,other higher-order effects also have great influence on the Airy pulse transmission.For example,the influence of self-steepening effect and the self-frequency shift on the Airy pulse transmission is similar to third-order dispersion,both of which cause the pulse center to shift,and the larger the absolute value of system parameters is,the faster the shift increases.In addition,the non-linear gain increases the intensity of Airy pulse,so the reasonable selection of the nonlinear gain and linear loss parameters can make their influence on Airy pulse offset each other.The gain dispersion causes the intensity of Airy pulse to decay continuously during the transmission process,and the greater the gain dispersion is,the faster the intensity of Airy pulse decays.To sum up,we can con-trol the transmission dynamics of Airy pulse by selecting reasonable system parameters,so as to realize the management of pulse transmission in the dissipative system.
