摘要

Abstract

The computational fluid dynamics simulation of a fine sand removal equipment for sand particles of 100 μm was carried out,so as to investigate the fluid dynamics characteristics of the equipment and the sedimentation law of such sand particles.The simulated sand removal rate is consistent with the theoretical calculation,which proves the reliability of the simulation method and results.In the simulation,100 μm sand particles were mainly de-posited at the tail,the mud outlet,and the surface of the lowest inclined plate in the spiral desliming machine.When the gas-water ratio is 0.1,the compact integrated sedimentation structure can keep the removal rate of fine sand a-bove 96%,which has an excellent sand removal effect,and is much better than that of similar products in China.Moreover,the fluid disturbance caused by the opening and closing of the mud outlet can be eliminated,the fluctua-tion of the removal rate is smaller and more stable,and the sand particles less than 200 μm can be prevented from"penetrating"the pretreatment and disturbing the stable operation of the subsequent biochemical units.
