Multidimensional Impact of Digital Economy on Urban Green Development
摘要
Abstract
As the core driving force of economic development,digital economy is becoming an important support for China's green economic development.Based on the panel data of 281 cities at prefecture level and above in China from 2011 to 2021,this paper empirically tests the relationship between digital economy and urban green development by using SDM,GMM estimation and mediation effect model.The results are shown as follows:(1)There is a significant inverted U-shaped relationship between digital economy and local green development,while there is a significant U-shaped relationship between digital economy and the green development level of neighboring cities.This conclusion is still valid after the historical fixed telephone penetration rate and lagging instrumental variable test.(2)Technical innovation and resource misallocation are important transmission channels for dig-ital economy to influence urban green development.(3)The impact of digital economy on urban green development has significant spatial heterogeneity,and the impact of digital economy on urban green development is more significant in flat and gentle slope ar-eas,while the impact of steep-slope areas has not been fully demonstrated.The spatial heterogeneity of the efficiency of digital economy is also reflected in the regional location.The impact of digital economy on the green development level of eastern and central cities is significant,while the impact on the western cities is not significant.关键词
