Response of Allometric Relationship Among N,P and K Contents of Pinus yunnanensis Seedlings to Combined Application of Nitrogen and Phosphorus

Abstract
The objectives of this study were to understand the distribution characteristics of nitrogen(N),phosphorus(P)and potassium(K)in different organs of Pinus yunnanensis seedlings,analyze the distri-bution variations of the contents of N,P and K among different organs,and explore the allometric relation-ships between each element in different organs.An orthogonal experimental design with two factors and three levels of N and P was carried out to conduct different fertilizations.Seedlings were sampled to study the response of allometric growth relationship among N,P and K contents of P.yunnanensis seedlings to the combined application of N and P fertilizers.P.yunnanensis seedlings had different allocation strategies for N,P,and K accumulations in different organs.Overall,the variation of K was smaller,while the contents of N and P changed with larger fluctuations and similar patterns.It was found that the distribution of N and K was in the order of sprout>leaf>stem>root,while the distribution of P was sprout>stem>leaf>root.Comparing with the control,the effects of single application of N fertilizer,P fertilizer and com-bined application of N and P on the growth of P.yunnanensis seedlings were different.Generally speaking,the combined application of N and P can promote the rational distribution of nutrients of the seedlings,and effectively alleviate the limiting effect of single application,make the nutrients in a state of equilibrium,and then promote the growth of seedlings.The allometric relationship among nutrient elements in each organ also change with the fertilization time:the accumulation rate of N and P in each organ becomes similar,and the accumulation rate of K was lower than those of N and P.It is concluded that the combined application of N and P significantly change the allometric trajectories of the elements among various organs of P.yun-nanensis seedlings,forming different distribution patterns of nutrient elements.关键词
