Abstract
In order to improve the power drift problem caused by the aging of HID(high intensity discharge)lamps and the changes in their volt ampere characteristics,a digital controlled electronic ballast drive circuit with constant power control capability is designed and fabricated based on the average current control mode of Buck buck converter.It includes two control loops:the inner current loop is used to maintain stable driving,and the outer power loop is used to maintain a constant power of the lamp during its use.Based on the small signal model of the Buck buck converter in DCM mode,the PI algorithm is used as a digital compensator to complete the compensation loop design and ensure the stability of the circuit output.The three-level electronic ballast driven by low-frequency square wave is used in the circuit structure to suppress acoustic resonance.The design and testing results show that the driving circuit of the electronic ballast can realize a constant power control of 450 W,with an error value less than 3%.The electronic ballast has a simple driving circuit structure,high reliability,and can be used for driving 450W HID lamps.关键词
