Abstract
The China Spallation Neutron Source(CSNS)is a large-scale multi-discipline user facility based on high energy particle accelerators.To utilize the accompanying protons generated in the negative hydrogen ion accelerator,an associated proton experimental platform(APEP)is constructed by CSNS at the end of Linac.Its main parameters are calibrateded through scattering measurement,beam spot photography,isotope activation method,and other experiment methods.The experimental results show that its energy range is from 10 to 80 MeV,and the beam intensity covers from 1.2X107 to 4.0×109 cm-2·s-1.The beam spot is uniform and adjustable in size.The APEP operates stably,providing over 5 000 h of beam time per year.It can meet the application requirements of device reliability test,detector calibration,irradiation breeding,and material radiation resistance characteristic test.关键词
