利用GWAS和DNA甲基化共定位鉴定猪肉质性状的候选基因
Identification of Candidate Genes for Pork Texture Traits Using GWAS Combined with Co-localisation of DNA Methylation
摘要
Abstract
To gain a deeper understanding of the genetic basis of meat quality traits,this study performed GWAS analysis using genotype-based populated sequencing data and co-localisation analysis with previously published EWAS results.The study identified 515 genome-wide significant SNP loci and 4 134 SNP loci at the proposed significance threshold,which involved 406 genes,including 262 protein-coding genes,and resulted in the identification of 6 important candidate genes that may be associated with meat quality traits.Meanwhile,comparison with the results of EWAS revealed that 12 significant CpG loci overlapped with significant SNP loci.The study results can provide a more solid theoretical foundation and data support for breeding efforts to improve pork quality.关键词
