Abstract
Based on axial compression experiments of three kinds of concrete-filled steel tubular short columns with the same steel ratio and confining coefficient but different cross sections,in order to study the size effect of concrete-filled steel tubular components on its bearing capacity and normative calculation method.The load-strain relationship curves and the load-axial displacement curves of the components under the axial compression are obtained by experiments.The superposition principle is used to analyze the effect of different specifications on the mechanical properties and ultimate bearing capacity of concrete-filled steel tubular component with equal confining coefficient.The results show that the bearing capacity of concrete-filled steel tubular short column is close to the experimental value of the existing standards including CECS 28:2012 and DBJ 13-51-2010.When the confining coefficient is equal,the concrete-filled steel tubular short columns with the same material properties and similar geometric components have a certain size effect.关键词
