Research Progress on the Biological Functions of Marigold Lutein and Its Application in Poultry Production
摘要
Abstract
Marigold lutein is a natural plant extract,which has biological functions such as pigmentation,anti-inflammatory,antioxidant and immunity.Compared with traditional extraction technology,ultrasonic assisted extraction,supercritical fluid extraction,enzyme assisted extraction and other modern extraction technology to extract the effective components of marigold significantly improved the efficiency and yield,which provided an effective and reliable method for extraction of marigold extract.At present,most of the studies on marigold lutein focus on the pigment deposition in egg yolk of laying hens,and there are few studies on poultry immunity,anti-inflammatory and meat and egg quality.In this paper,the extraction technology,biological function and application of marigold lutein in poultry were reviewed,which provides theoretical reference for further development and utilization of marigold lutein in poultry feed.关键词
