摘要

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant and widespread impact on urban environ-ments.This study takes Nanchang city as the research object and uses the split window algorithm to invert urban surface temperature using multi temporal remote sensing data.Based on this,the spati-otemporal distribution characteristics of the heat island effect of different land use types at different stages of the COVID-19 epidemic were analyzed,revealing the laws of urban thermal environment changes at different stages of COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control.The research results indi-cate that,compared with the situation before the epidemic and during the same period,the urban heat island effect decreased by 57%and 49.3%respectively during the two lockdowns,and the magnitude of this decrease decreases as the distance from the city center increases.In addition,there are differences in the magnitude of heat island effect changes among different land cover types.The decrease in heat island effect in water bodies,forests,wasteland,and farmland is relatively small,while the decrease in heat island effect in urban areas is significant.These findings provide important empirical research support for our in-depth understanding of the spatiotemporal changes in urban thermal environment at different stages of epidemic prevention and control.Further research can help us optimize urban planning and management strategies to reduce urban heat island effects and provide reference for similar emergencies in the future.
