An Initial Exploration of Liao Dynasty Multi-eaved Pagoda under Parameterization-driven Approach

Abstract
The emergence of digital technology provides a new solution for the processing of historical architectural data.Unlike other halls and Buddhist temples,towers face difficulties in mapping,preservation and reuse due to the number of storeys,the difficulty of climbing the eave part of the tower,and the difficulty of surveying the interior.Aiming at the current research dilemma of ancient pagodas,the article aims at the three-dimensional reverse generation of the Liao Dynasty Multi-eaved Pagoda,combining the principle of automatic generation with Grasshopper parametric design to store the digital information of the pagoda and at the same time restore the historical characteristics and appearance of the Liao Dynasty Multi-eaved Pagoda.关键词
