Effect of asymmetrical flow of urban and rural population on the health of rural residents
摘要
Abstract
Objective To analyze the impact of asymmetric population flow on the health level of rural residents on the basis of population census data and a sampling survey in China.Methods The data were ana-lyzed by constructing a baseline regression model using the global entropy weighting method.Results The results showed that there was a significant adverse effect on the health level of rural residents due to the asymmetric popu-lation flow between urban and rural areas,and the effect mechanism mainly manifested in the aging of rural popu-lation,health loss of migrant workers and the sluggish development of the rural regions.Conclusions In order to promote the health improvement of rural residents,we can reduce the adverse effects of the asymmetric migration of the urban and rural population on the health level of the rural residents by deepening the reform of household regis-tration system,improving the health security service system of the floating population and promoting the integration of the floating population into the city,to improve the living standards of rural residents and promote rural revital-ization and shared prosperity.关键词
