Abstract
Objective To explore the application effect of health education of health belief model(HBM)combined with continuous nursing in the postoperative rehabilitation of patients with pituitary tumor.Methods A total of 102 pituitary tumor patients who underwent surgical treatment at the 900th Hospital of Joint Service Support Force from February 2021 to February 2022 were included and retrospectively analyzed.They were allocated into a control group and an observation group according to different nursing methods,with 51 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing,and the observation group additionally received HBM health education combined with continuous nursing.The pulmonary function,postoperative symptom distress,negative emotions,and complications of two groups were compared.Results At 6 months after discharge,the vital capacity(VC),forced expiratory volume in 1 second(FEV1),forced vital capacity(FVC),FEV1/FVC,and maximal voluntary ventilation(MVV)of the two groups were significantly higher than those at admission.The various item scores and the total score of the symptom distress questionnaire,as well as the scores of the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale(HAMA)and the Hamilton Depression Rating Scale(HAMD)were lower than those at admission(all P<0.05).The above indicators and scores of the observation group were significantly better than those of the control group(all P<0.05).The total complication rate of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The HBM health education combined with continuous nursing can effectively improve the postoperative pulmonary function and negative emotions of patients with pituitary tumor,reduce the postoperative symptom distress,and reduce the complications.关键词
