Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of targeted psychological intervention combined with immediate motivational nursing on children receiving intravenous infusion with indwelling needles.Methods A convenience sampling method was used to select 240 children who received intravenous infusion with indwelling needles at Kaiping Central Hospital of Guangdong Province from January 2021 to December 2022.According to the time of presentation,120 children who received the treatment from January to December 2021 were set as the control group(receiving routine nursing),and 120 children who received the treatment from January to December 2022 were set as the observation group(receiving targeted psychological intervention combined with immediate motivational nursing).The puncture effect,intensity of pain,psychological state,incidence of adverse events,and nursing satisfaction of family members of the two groups were observed and compared.Results Compared with the control group,the primary venipuncture rate of the observation group was higher.The retention time of indwelling needles was longer.The frequency of punctures was less(all P<0.05).The score of the Faces,Legs,Activity,Cry,and Consolability(FLACC)scale in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The cognitive score,thinking score,emotional score,volitional behavior score,and the total score of the Mental Health Scale for Child and Adolescent(MHS-CA)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(all P<0.05),but there was no statistically significant difference in the personality score between the two groups(P>0.05).The nursing satisfaction rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the nursing complaint rate,nursing dispute rate,and total incidence of adverse events were all lower than those of the control group(all P<0.05).Conclusion The application of targeted psychological intervention combined with immediate motivational nursing in children receiving intravenous infusion with indwelling needles can not only improve the puncture effect,alleviate the physical pain,relieve the negative emotions,and reduce the adverse events,but also improve the nursing satisfaction rate and reduce the nursing complaint rate and nursing dispute rate.关键词
