摘要

Abstract

Bone tissue engineering(BTE)scaffolds are artificial scaffolds developed for the purpose of repairing the defect of bone and restoring its function.Alginate is the most abundant marine biopolymers in the world,and its application in bone tissue engineering materials has been widely reported.Although alginate as bone tissue scaffold material has excellent biocompatibility,good biodegradability and no immunogenicity,it still has some disadvantages such as weak mechanical strength,lack of cell-specific binding sites,and easy destruction of scaffold structure in physiological environment,which seriously limits its application in bone tissue engineering.So far,researchers have developed several types of alginate com-posite scaffold materials.Therefore,the alginate composite biomaterial may have high application value in bone tissue re-pair and regeneration.For this reason,this article mainly focuses on the application of alginate composite scaffold materials in bone tissue engineering to give a brief overview.
