Abstract

Aiming at the crack defects of the outside edge welding joint,process of leakage blocking with pressure,specialized patches,special yoke for sealing welding and simulated the test benchwere designed.The leakage blocking with pressure simulation test was carried out at 10 MPa internal pressure,and the stress distribution under 15 MPa internal pressure was analyzed by numerical simulation method.The results show that the penetration inspection results of the joint obtained by process of leakage blocking with pressure developed in this test are qualified,and the pressure can be stabilized for 10 min in the 15 MPa water pressure test.After the pressure drops to 10 MPa,the pressure holding time is greater than 30 min,and the pipe body does not leak and deformation,which meets the requirements of the water pressure test.The peak stress under the internal pressure of 15 MPa is less than the yield strength of the material,and the joint can work safely.The process of leakage blocking with pressure,specialized patches,special yoke for sealing welding and simulated welding test bench developed in this test can complete the leakage blocking with pressure of outside edge welding joint with crack type defect.
