Modeling and Simulation Practice of the Full-Scale Treatment Process for a Large-Scale Combined System WWTP

Abstract
This study focuses on the modeling of the upgrading and reconstruction(upgrading and supplementation)project of Shanghai Zhuyuan No.1 and No.2 WWTP with a design capacity of 800 000 m3/d.A full-scale treatment process model of the WWTP,including advanced treatment,is established in wastewater treatment modeling software WEST.The Monte Carlo simulation method is used to calibrate the model parameters.The simulation results show that the model can simulate the effluent water quality of the WWTP and the concentration of internal and external return sludge well,with an overall relative error of less than 20%.The modeling procedure,models,and parameter calibration methods used in this study can provide technical reference for the modeling and simulation of similar WWTPs.关键词
