Abstract
For the issue of poor operational performance of the hydrolysis acidification tank in the industrial wastewater treatment plants(WWTPs)with pharmaceutical wastewater as the main source,caused by uneven water distribution,sludge compaction,and short flow.A pilot-scale test was conducted on the industrial wastewater which mostly consisted in pharmaceutical wastewater,using an upflow hydrolysis acidification reactor-UHASB.The result of field test showed that when the CODCr concentration of influent water was 195.4~600 mg/L,the average CODCr removal rates of two pilot-scale devices above 31.51%,and the average SCODCr/CODCr ratios above 0.80,compared to the control group,the CODCr removal rate was increased by more than 15%,and the average SCODCr/CODCr ratio was improved by over 33%;When the influent water was affected by quality or quantity shocks,the CODCr concentration of outlet water in the pilot-scale devices remain stably at around 200 mg/L,with the CODCr fluctuation inhibition rate exceeding 60%.The research results indicate that the UHASB upflow hydrolysis acidification reactor has significant advantages in treating wastewater from the WWTP compared to the existing pre-treatment processes.The pilot study provides technical reference for the renovation of the industrial waste water treatment plants.关键词
