摘要
Abstract
Two major challenges lay on the path for building Child-friendly cities in China.First,how to integrate the concept of child friendliness into the overall development goals of the city through planning and formulation.Secondly,how to facilitate the advancement of the implementation in an orderly manner facing the diverse spatial levels and built environment.The"Pudong New Area Child-Friendly Urban Planning Guidelines"(also known as CFPG),has established a framework that can be a beneficial reference.Based on children's perspective and requirements,CFPG organizes the overall process with focus on coordinating resources properly,designing processes thoroughly,and utilizing evidences accurately.The CFPG has considered the planning/design ideas of"adopting standardised measures to ensure the bottom line"and"creating unique features fitting to local conditions".The planning framework consists three levels of intervention scales and three types of built environment,that promoted a batch of practical projects with demonstration effects.A considerable implementation has so far been conducted,which reflect the effective collaboration among diverse functional departments and practitioners.关键词
