The Application of Midas Gen in the Calculation of Pool Structure in Water Conveyance Project

Abstract
In order to solve the applicability problem of calculation of large pool structure in water transmission project,the general finite element software Midas Gen was used to carry out finite element analysis of a high pool in a project,and the overall analysis model of the high pool was established to obtain the deformation and internal force distribution results of the high pool under various load conditions and load combinations.Based on the analysis of horizontal and vertical bending moments in different parts of the pool,the distribution rules of bending moments are obtained,which can be used for the targeted reinforcement design.At the same time,the internal force results are not too large,indicating that the vertical and horizontal frame structure formed by the column and beam of the high water pool enhances the integrity and mechanical performance of the water pool,and the structural system is reasonable.The calculation example can provide reference for similar engineering design.关键词
