Abstract
In order to solve the problems of inconsistency of layout form,lack of standardization and continuity of information dissemination,etc.,Shaoyang City of Hunan Province was taken as an example.According to the re-quirements of national standards,the characteristics of the urban road network and traffic,and considering the visu-al characteristics of the drivers,a detailed design was made for the layout of the road signs,the height of the text,the applied signs and the information selection,etc.to realize the effective,coherent and hierarchical transmission of the road information,which effectively improves the image and grade of medium and small cities.关键词
