Abstract
Parametric and variable technology is an interdisciplinary research hotspot in academia and industry.The theories and methods of parametric pattern design including shape grammars,fractal theory,mathematical models,etc are analyzed.The parametric design languages of architecture,product and pattern design are discussed and compared.On this basis,the commonalities of theoretical algorithm,design process and parametric software are summarized,which pro-vides new impetus for the development and diversity of pattern design.Aiming at the characteristics of clothing pattern,the current situation and difficulties of the application of parametric technology are analyzed,and the future development direc-tions of parametric technology in the field of pattern design are proposed.关键词
