Abstract
Objective To observe the application effect of one-time root canal therapy on acute pulpitis of deciduous teeth in children.Methods A total of 86 children with acute pulpitis of deciduous teeth treated in Tianheng Health Center in Jimo District,Qingdao from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected and divided into control group(n=43)and study group(n=43)by the random number table method.The control group received routine root canal therapy,while the study group received one-time root canal therapy.The clinical efficacy,incidence of toothache,levels of inflammatory factors,and total incidence of adverse events were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of study group was higher than that of control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of toothache of study group was lower than that of control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of high sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6),and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)were decreased in both groups,and the levels of hs-CRP,IL-6,and TNF-α in the study group were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse events in the study group was lower than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion One-time root canal therapy on acute pulpitis of deciduous teeth in children has significant application effect,which can reduce the pain level and inflammatory reactions,and is worth promoting.关键词
