Abstract
In order to the increasing demand for anti slip and noise reduction functions of national and provincial trunk highways,the mix design and performance was studied.PAC-13 and PAC-10 type of large void asphalt mixtures were selected as the example.Four different mix proportions were used for construction on the experimental section.And road performance testing was conducted on the paved experimental section.The research results indicate that the optimal oil stone ratio of PAC-13 type large void asphalt mixture is 4.6%.The one of PAC-10 type large void as-phalt mixture is 4.8%;With the increases of aggregate content from 0.6~4.75 mm,all the void fraction,effective void fraction and effective void fraction percentage decrease;PAC-13 test specimens are prone to forming rich macroscopic textures on the road surface,which promotes the improvement of road anti-skid performance and re-sults in more excellent anti-skid performance under the same environmental conditions;PAC-10 type of large void asphalt mixture has the maximum void fraction,the highest degree of curvature in the voids,and the best sound ab-sorption effect.The large void asphalt mixture meets the regulatory requirements and can provide reference for im-proving the anti-skid and noise reduction functions of national and provincial trunk highways.关键词
