Abstract

Shale gas in southern Sichuan Basin features complex geological and engineering conditions,such as thin platinum target,low porosity and permeability,high temperature,stress and stress difference,and well-developed minor faults,small amplitude struc-tures,fractures and bedding.In response to these conditions,with the help of"Internet+",PetroChina Southwest Oil&Gasfield Com-pany have established a geology-engineering collaborative platform beyond traditional modes with technological broken and relayed management.By virtue of key IT technologies concerning geology-engineering integration,the established platform has been achieved four achievements.First,the middle office for data service is set on the basis of Data Lake in Southwest China to provide the uniform,reliable and timely data support for top applications.Second,major geology and engineering software and application systems are linked to make remoting models possible,which may create basic environment for sharing data source.Third,users'research results are collected,normalized and managed to build uniform models.Fourth,depending on the geology-engineering integration mode for southern basin,10 application scenarios are designed in accordance with intelligent workflows.It is conclude that(ⅰ)to establish the geology-engineering collaborative platform through the workflows that can drive specialized software to run semi-automatically or automatically under the basic environment of the PetroChina's E&P Dream Cloud Platform,and Data Lake is necessary and inevitable for IT-based development of shale gas in southern Sichuan Basin;(ⅱ)this platform enables the collection of professional data,integra-tion of specialized software,creation of uniform models,and customization of collaborative scenarios to effectively improve both effi-ciency and capability of geology-engineering efforts,making it align with intelligent shale gas fields;and(ⅲ)it generates application modes incorporating the basic environment,information system,professional data,specialized software and intelligent workflows,which organically combines relevant units,departments and personnel,allowing them to collaborate closely.In this way,a revolu-tionary organization mode is formed,triggering these fields to transform from digital to intelligent.Offering powerful support for the exploration and production of shale gas in southern Sichuan Basin,the geology-engineering collaborative platform is referential for intelligent shale gas fields across the basin or even in other petroleum provinces within China.
