Abstract
Objective To analyze the effect of Teach-Back health education mode on disease cognition and prevention behavior of family members of school-aged children with hand,foot and mouth disease.Methods A total of 70 school-aged children with hand,foot and mouth disease treated in Qixia Maternal and Child Health and Family Planning Service Center from August 2021 to August 2023 were selected and divided into the control group(35 cases)and the study group(35 cases)according to different intervention programs.The control group adopted the conventional health education mode,and the study group adopted the Teach-Back health education mode.Disease cognition and prevention behavior of family members and treatment compliance behavior of children were compared between the two groups.Results After intervention,the scores of disease cognition of family members and total score in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention,the prevention behavior of family members in the study group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).The treatment compliance behavior of children in the study group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Teach-Back health education mode can improve the disease cognition of family members of school-aged children with hand,foot and mouth disease,and ameliorate the prevention behavior of family members and the treatment compliance behavior of children,which is worthy of clinical promotion.关键词
