Abstract
Objective:To investigate the correlation between urethral geometric parameters and symptoms,including obstruction in patients with Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia(BPH),and to evaluate the diagnostic and therapeutic value of ultrasound.Methods:A retrospective analysis of data from 220 BPH patients was conducted,including age,IPSS score,voiding IPSS(vIPSS),storage IPSS(sIPSS),quality of life(QoL)questionnaire scores,prostate length,width,transition zone height,length,and width.Results:Ultrasound parameters were positively correlated with age;urethral length had a significant linear relationship with IPSS score;proximal urethral arch height(Puah)was significantly correlated with IPSS and QoL scores;transition zone volume(Vtz)was a significant predictor of Pul changes.Conclusion:Ultrasonic geometric parameters,such as urethral length and Puah,are valuable in assessing symptom severity and obstruction,aiding in clinical diagnosis and treatment decisions.关键词
