陕西洛南"金膏玉"的产出状态及宝石学特征研究
Study on Gemological Characteristics and Occurrence of Jingao Jade in Luonan County,Shaanxi Province
摘要
Abstract
Recenlty,a newly kind of Dolomite jade has been discovered in ZhangHuaGou LuoNan,ShanXi province.The jade market often refers to it as"JinGao Yu".The color of the original stone is mostly milky white to beige,popular in the market due to its similarity to ivory white.Due to its short entry into the market,at present,scholars lack a systematic understanding of its wild occurrence and gemological characteristics.Through surface route tracing,trenching,and deep drilling control,confirmed that the"JinGao Yu"ore bodies exhibit layered development.Occurred in the dolomite layer at the top of the XunJian-Si formation.Belonging to sedimentary alteration type deposit.Through observation under a polarizing microscope,conventional gemological testing,rock chemical analysis,X-ray powder diffraction,and other studies,it has been found that the main mineral composition is dolomite,content greater than 95%,also contains a small amount of silica,calcite,etc.Conventional Gemological Features Display,"JinGao Yu"is a dense block with a delicate structure.The polished surface is glassy,semi transparent to slightly transparent,with a relative density of 2.867 to 3.098,a refractive index of 1.53 to 1.68,and a Mohs hardness of about 4～5.关键词
