Abstract
Objective To compare the clinical effects of different radical mastoidectomy combined with tympanoplasty in the treatment of chronic suppurative otitis media.Methods 86 patients with chronic suppurative otitis media were divided into two groups according to the different surgical methods.The complete wall group was treated with complete wall radical mastoidectomy combined with tympanoplasty,and the open group was treated with open modified radical mastoidectomy combined with tympanoplasty.The postoperative recovery,recurrence rate and hearing threshold were compared between the two groups.Results After surgery,no significant difference was found in tympanic membrane healing between the two groups(P＞0.05),while the dry ear time of the complete wall group was shorter than that of the open group,and the recurrence rate was higher than that of the open group(P＜0.05).At 6 months after surgery,no significant difference was found in the hearing thresholds of 500,1 000 and 2 000 Hz between the two groups(P＞0.05),while the 4 000 Hz hearing threshold of the complete wall group was lower than that of the open group(P＜0.05).Conclusions Compared with open modified radical mastoidectomy combined with tympanoplasty,complete wall radical mastoidectomy combined with tympanoplasty has better reconstruction effect on high frequency hearing and faster postoperative dry ear in patients with chronic suppurative otitis media,but the recurrence rate is higher.关键词
