Modernization progress and enlightenment of GPS
摘要
Abstract
The existing global positioning system(GPS)has a large amount of information with varying quality,making some second-hand information mislead readers.To address this issue,this paper reviewed the course of modernization development of the GPS based on the GPS-related technical documents published by official authorities in recent years.The paper also analyzed the characteristics of the new civil and military signals added to navigation satellites,the new generation of operating control systems,and the new GPS Block III/IIIF satellites,introduced the spot beam technology used in GPS Block IIIF,and put forward some enlightenment.GPS is the world's first global navigation satellite system(GNSS),with leading indicators such as global coverage,software applications,and global user numbers.Its technological development direction represents the current mainstream trend.The experience and lessons summarized during GPS construction should be learned,as well as the development direction of GPS.This paper can be analyzed by professionals in the satellite navigation industry.关键词
