摘要

Abstract

With the rapid advancements in smart mobile terminal technology and the Internet of Things(IoT),Augmented Reality(AR)technology has gradually become a part of daily life.AR integrates virtual information with real-world scenarios,creating rich sensory experiences.The people's cognition on the spatial environment of public buildings is characterized by spatial dynamics and continuity,subject differences,information complexity,and the interaction between space and behavior,and so on.These characteristics lead to limitations in individuals'cognition on public space environments.The application of AR technology in the use process of public buildings enables users to break through limited spatial cognition and to obtain more intuitive and rich multidimensional information.This paper first addresses the limitations of traditional cognition on the spatial environment of public buildings and then discusses the role of AR technology in enhancing spatial environment cognition.Finally,through a practical project,it introduces the demonstrative application of AR technology in enhancing spatial cognition,and demonstrates the positive role of AR technology in improving the cognition on spatial environment of public buildings.
