Abstract
A novel container-type device was developed to precisely measure the ionic conductivity of gel polymer electrolytes.The consistency and reproducibility of the ionic conductivity testing could be improved by fixing the electrolytes size;besides,the shortest solidification time could be determined by in-situ monitoring the solidification process of gel polymer electrolytes.The experimental results show that the relative standard deviation of ionic conductivity of gel polymer electrolytes from the same batch is less than 7%;the relative standard deviation at different time periods is less than 2%;the shortest solidification time of gel polymer electrolyte at 50℃is 15 h.Furthermore,the batteries assembled with the gel polymer electrolytes with high ionic conductivity selected by the device exhibit excellent electrochemical performance.The results demonstrate that the device can accurately mea-sure the ionic conductivity,determine the shortest solidification time of gel polymer electrolytes,and screen out the electrolytes with excellent electrical performance.关键词
