Abstract
This paper aims to prepare the efficient,environmentally friendly and low-cost adsorbents.By taking coal gangue as the raw material,and methylene blue solution as the simulated pollutant,the study involves determining the optimal conditions for preparing modified coal gangue through a four-factor three-level orthogonal experiment,characterizing the adsorbent by using XRD,SEM,and FTIR,and in-vestigating the influence of modified coal gangue dosage,initial solution concentration,adsorption tem-perature,adsorption time,and solution pH on adsorption efficiency.The results show that the optimal conditions for preparing modified coal gangue are a magnesium sulfate to coal gangue ratio of 1∶0.5,modification temperature of 550℃,and modification time of 3 hours.The optimal adsorption perform-ance of modified coal gangue appears under the following conditions:the modified coal gangue dosage is 3 g/L,adsorption time is 1.5 hours,initial concentration of methylene blue solution is 40 mg/L,adsorp-tion temperature is 50℃,and solution pH is 10.Furthermore,Langmuir model could describe the ad-sorption isotherm better during the adsorption process.关键词
